    xd50 vs xd100

ive got a 2006 e-tec 225 when it was rigged the dealer filled it with xd50 and suggested (based on my use) family runs to the beach and bay fishing that i use xd50 after reading this board it appears almost everyone goes with the 100
the cost per gallon here is about 10.00 different
cost not being a factor what are the benefits of the 100?

Benefits over XD-50, possible lower cost as you will use less oil, little or no carbon deposits, better corrosion and cold weather protection.

Dude, for a $10 difference and using about 1/2 the amount with XD100 ...... No brainer, go with XD100. It'll save you $$$.

If you make the swap just have him program the EMM to XD-100. I'd run it low in the tank though then do the conversion, but I'm old school.
