Internet fourms do create sense of friends/family

    http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/sh...ayers

This is a thread from a motorcycle forum I use to be on that is much like this boating/fishing forum. I found it on Google.
My girlfriend at that time started it. She was needing to tell someone that would care about how close she was to loosing me to death after my motorcycle accident. Total strangers to her, friends to me.

The same as we see here the outpouring of concern and prayers were strong. There are several updates of my condition that I didn't even know the details of. It gives me a sense of humility/humbleness/thankfulness.

    I guess I needed to share ........ Major update p3 # 71& 73 another #125

One just doesn't understand the worth of sites like this until .........

    Thanks Doc.
I went to a nursing home for 7 months. Those guys raised 5k for me. It kept my GF afloat while I couldn't do anything but lay there.

Excatly what I see here a close group in it's own way.

It's kinda funny that I see the same topics there as here. I read the same arguments there as that go on here about allot of the same things........

I haven't read the threads, but already know what you've been through, Johnny.

And you're right. The BBC is like family.

Yes, we are family. Al is daddy and we are the kids... Seriously, this is a great site and I have always felt like family. Some of the greatest guys and gals are on here and will help when there is a problem and will pray for you when there is a need. Picture of daddy below...
