I don't have power steering does anyone know what to use to grease your steering cables, does it matter, do some things work better than others? Any suggestions would be great, and what is the easiest way to grease them.

Anyone know of a good board sponsor for ordering ( THE RIGHT ) cables for my boat, anyone have good buying experience with any of the sponsors I can trust to get the right cables the first time?

Gene, I don't know what kind of engine you have, or if it would make any difference, but Sherm of Sherm's Marine will get it right, if he can help you. C&O also seems to be another top BBC sponsor as well. I had dual cables on a couple of my boats, once they start to get too tight, you just have to replace them. One even had zircs on it for lubrication, but it never made any difference.

Of course I talk to myself...sometimes I need expert advice.
