Had our tournament today on 17. Was really expecting to struggle with all the high water and screwed up weather. Got to our spot and the first fish of the day was a nice 3 - 3.5 lber..... that I lost at the boat. Thought that wasn't the best way to start the day
. Ended up not mattering. We limited out by 6:45, culled our three smallest by 11:45, and culled out the lone remaining small one at about 1:00. Ended up with 14 lbs to win. Brother had big bass at 4.2 lbs which is a beauty for this pool. I had all mine on cranks and he was a mix and match with spinner baits and senko's. All of our fish came on a stretch of bank about 30 yards long... and there were plenty of ABA boats back there wishing we never existed as we wouldn't leave it
. Was nice to have a nice solid tourny for both of us, broke the string of two straight second place finishes. From the sounds of it, fishing was tough for everyone else, we had the only 6 fish limit. Didn't have much luck there prefishing but I was counting on that spot to produce and it didn't let me down.
