Couldn't resist. Weather was perfect so I headed down after work. Water was stained for Geode, about 2 feet visibility. Water temps were 65 to 67 surface temp which really surprised me. Thought it would be a lot colder. Took me a while to find any fish concentrated but I found a good group towards nitefall. Most fish came shallow among weedlines on the southern end of the lake. Bluegil colored shallow diver Bandit did the trick. Caught a few others on sexy shad and a couple on jerkbait. Nothing on plastic but I didn't throw a lot of it. Was nice to get out and catch a few though. Nothing big (as usual for Geode anymore
) but they did put up some nice aerobatic fights!
