    Experts (and everyone else)

I have a Stratos 201 Evo w/300 series 2 and H-T phase 3. Should I go for the light flywheel? Recurved ECU? Velocity stacks? Wonder if there would be any gain on my heavy boat.

I would put the light weight fly wheel and the velocity stacks. As for the ECU unless you are banging the limiter with a very large prop I would not spend the money.

    Re: Experts (spider1)

34...is that all? I am swinging two 27's (or 29's depending who you talk to). That gives me at least 54" pitch total right?

Come talk tomewhen you can do that!

BTW , YES on the LW wheel!

    Re: Experts (spider1)

I got both on my stratos and would recommend both to you also. Raising the limiter is gonna be the ticket to propping these heavy boats where they will come out of the hole good. I can either find a prop that comes out of the hole great, but is into the limiter at 6150 (ex:28 Bravo). or a prop that never gets to the limiter, but is a dog out of the hole (ex: 31 hydromotive). Raising the limiter cures that. I just got the recurved ecu installed last weekend. I just stuck an old piece of crap 27 tempest i had on it and it jumps out of the hole (when compared to the 30 bravo i was running). I didnt run it hard, but ran it up to 85 once. The higher limiter is the ticket to improving holeshot on these heavy boats.

The only concern is you need to have the new style pistons and they need to be pinned. if not or if you have warranty remaining, I wouldnt raise the limiter.

28 or 29 worked is not a very large prop.

I agree. strats are heavy hulls. to get them up into the 80s is really doing something.
