Does anyone recommend running NGK over the standard Champion. Also, what are the proper timing marks otn the adjuster on the flywheel cover. I have a 1993 Johnson and my friend has a 1995 Evinrude and they are not set the same. What is the best setting for reliable performance?
Run the Champs, I've tried all the other plugs and the Champs give less trouble than any of em!! The gurus will help ya with the other ????'s
As Mike posted we recommend you run the Champions, the NGKs can cause interference with the OIS ignition system.
The timing should be set by a qualified technician, no two motors will be the same.
