    Blown 2002 Yamaha 225hp OX66

I got a new 28 TXP to run on my 2002 Intimidator with a 2002 Yamaha VMAX 225. Made the first pass with the new prop and turned around to come back to the ramp and my motor popped! If any of you know where I can find a powerhead please let me know.

    Thanks, Matt

I made one pass with the prop and got 79.6mph turning 5800rpms. When I turned around I started out at about 5000rpm and thats when it went. I never heard a sound. It was just like someone turned the key off. Dont know what caused it. I guess it was just one of those things

Wow. My old Johnson sounded like somebody out back was shakin' an old coffee can full of nuts and bolts when it blew. Hydrotech has the reputation!
