    "Help" Bent Prop Shaft

Just got off the water, loaded my boat and walk around and spun the prop and notice my prop shaft looked bent. Got home pulled it in the garage pulled the prop off and sure enough it is. I pulled the lower gear case plug and water and milky lube ran out. I just bought the boat and it is the first Yamaha I've ever owned. My question is can I pull the pro shaft out without removing the lower unit? There are two bolts on the bearing carrier housing behind the prop one at 12 o'clock and one at 6 o'clock. It almost looks like you could take those bolts out and slide the prop shaft out. Knowing my luck probably not though. It is a 2002 200 VMax OX66 3.1L. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks,
