Warranty Question

The info that came with the warranty card for my motor makes a big deal out of documenting proper storage prep. Does this mean that I have to have a dealer do the winterization? Do I risk voiding the warranty if I do it myself? I would really prefer to do it myself. Does saving the receipts from the winterization supplies suffice as proper documentation?

I do my winterization myself, on my 08, because I don't want some minnimum wage kid touching my boat, no one cares about your boat more than you, keep the recepts, I've just heard too many horror stories, just take your time ask any questions you might have and theres no way you can go wrong.
