First off I'm wondering how do you know if an engine is at operating temp? My gauge is usless with the lowest reading being 100 degree. So if you drop in with water in the lower 40's how long before you can crank it up safely?


Secondly my engine 225HPDI seems to have alot of freeplay in the mount to the power cylinder. About and 1/8-3/16 slop. All of this is in the shaft wih the steel bracket on the ends which connect to the power cylinder. Hope you get the picture? Is this to much play? I can see the engine move from side to side alittle when I hit bumps at low speeds.
