2002 Yamaha 225hp OX66

The first 30 seconds or so this morning the motor would only turn up to 5,000 rpm. Then it ran fine the rest of the day 5,800 - 5,900 rpm. Any ideas?

Sounds like a fouled plug that cleaned out... Do you run the BR8HS10's?

I've been using the 9's. I will go and get the 8's.

I bought the 8's. What is the recommended gap?

The BR8-HS10 is already preset to the correct gap. 1.0mm
