    frozen motor

    kb here last week when it got down to 19 deg with my boat in boat shed with no heat the lower unit was frozen. i hooked up to water , coming out nowhere i started up nipso heater and put on lower unit it took about 10 min to thaw but no water out pee hole finally go it unthawed going to be 62 deg wed going fishing hope i didn't hurt any thing kb .

    I'd be draining the LU pronto, sounds like you need to have the seals replaced. The GC shouldn't freeze up on you no matter the temps. Pull the LU and have it pressure tested and re-sealed. You may have burned out the H20 pump trying to get it fired up.
