Stalling after coming off the throttle

    2001 200 EFI Serial # OT324413
(original problem not starting and fuel coming out of the elbow fitting)

OK, replaced the fuel pump in the VST along with a needle valve on the float. Cleaned everything up already has all the new fuel lines, filter everything updated for ethanol fuel.

Put the muffs on her (ran an external tank with premix to make sure the VST had the proper mix ) busted right off ran an idled great. Ran through the RPM ranges, held great at all levels except when I would just floor it for a second and let it go back to idle it would stall on the way back down close to idle. If I would slowly bring the rpms down it was fine, never once died.

Will not having back pressure on the exhaust cause this, since I am on just muffs? It runs to me great since the fuel pump replacement and starts way easier. Bulb stays tight and always fires right up with the bump of the key.

You really shouldn't run more than a fast idle on muffs. Probably 1200-1500 max. The muffs can't supply enough water for any more RPM.

    +1

Would also STRONGLY recommend that you check (or have checked) ALL Sync-n-Link settings.... ESPECIALLY the TPS setting.

Incorrect TPS voltage at idle will result in your primary (remaining) concern.
