Anyone have any reviews they would like to share before I get these in? I basically use all Quantums anyhow, but Ive never had the Tour Editions before..

If you liked the old PT's, you should really like the new ones. I use the Energy PT's and they are much lighter than the old Q's. I don't have any of the Tour Edition reels but have looked at them and the carbon fiber handle is pretty cool and the Tour Edition I think is a little lighter than the Energy's.

Every year I have a guy that brings me all of his TE's for cleaning/maintenance. He is on Quantum's pro staff so he has about 20 of them. I have never had to repair anything on any of them and they are all still as smooth as new. even his cranking reels are still super smooth. The brass gearing in the Energy gets rough alot faster than the aluminum gear in the TE. I personally feel that the TE is one of the best reels out there right now. Especially since you can get them for quite a bit less than $200 on Ebay.

Just bought two myself. Only used the 6.3:1 so far, but have been very impressed. Always bought Shimanos and Abus before. Casts very well and easy to set up for no backlash. Wish I had bought a couple more.
