I have the above motor SN#OG886161 that is starting to give me problems. I'll be runnin WOT, 5800 rpm and all sudden it will slow down to about 5000-5200 rpms. Get off plane, make my checks and idle around, jump back on her and she fine. Later in the same day,it will happen again. Each time I would check the primer bulb, that's ok, pull cowling off and check connectors, nothing loose. Check compression once at home, all at 120 lbs. Motor runs great, no sneeze, cough. Any suggestions?
When it does it again you need to come off plane and then go right back to wide open. If it struggles to plane off it may be a stator or coil failing due to heat of motor.

You should also CHECK your fuel lines. If an inner liner is collapsing, pumpin the primer bulb may have NO EFFECT. See the following post for info on fuel lines:

All hoses from tank to motor, bleed lines, fuel,oil,water hoses all been replaced earlier this year, including pulse pump. I'll check stator and coils next.
