I have had a long time problem with my "check engine alarm" going off after extensive slow speed running on my 1993 Evinrude 150. My machanic has said that it indicates a fuel restriction, but should be going off at high speed. I hooked up a seperate fuel tank saturday and ran at slow speed for over 2.5 hours and had no alarm. This is much longer than it usually takes for the alarm. I am running this on a 1996 Stratos 285 Pro DC. Any ideas on where to look next? It seems it might be in the fuel system before it gets to the motor.
Thanks,
CP
