Beaver Lake

Hey Guys - Heading to my parent's house this weekend in NWA. We are thinking about fishing Beaver, but heard they are going to be dropping the water levels... Anyone been out lately? How's the fishing been?

Might just stay in Bella Vista if Beaver is going to be wacked out...

Still about 6 foot hight but dropping. Calling for rain tonight and tomorrow. Have not been on it, but night time would be better than the day.

Bella Vista...lots of lil ones in the day and several good ones on Loch Lomond at night (jig, big worm and a big black blade).

I live by the lake. It's dropping, but very slowly. I was at the local bait store today, and they didn't think it had hurt anything so far. I'm going to be out fishing Saturday, and don't expect it to be off because of the draw down. But the fishing is just generally tougher in the dog days of summer, so they haven't exactly been jumping in the boat for several weeks now.

I heard on the news this morning that they are not going to be drawing it down for a few days because of the rain,so you shouldn't worry much about that!!! It's not from the rain we recieved,but farther downstream they got a lot of rain,so we cant release it from beaver for a few more days!!

I went out to beaver last saturday and did pretty good for beaver. We probably had 10 keepers. No blacks only kentucky's and smallies. It was pretty steady most of the day.
