i took the wires off the sending unit and the gauge stayed on the full mark i also touched the two wires together nothing happened. i took the gauge and the sending unit out going to check them at work tonight i'll let you know what happened tomorrow.
Sounds good, only 2 things it could be is the sending unit, power to or the gauge,,, oppps 3 things
Did you pull the sending unit and lift the arm to see if the gauge moved?
i checked the sending unit with my volt meter (olms) and it was working so i grabbed some wire and a battery hooked everyting up just like it would be in the boat and found the gauge to be bad. whats the price of a factory beede fuel gauge or does anyone have one forsale
