I know Lafayette is a good ways from you but Phillip at 'The Prop Shop' has reworked my torquemaster in the past. He also talked to me about my sporty that has some issues right now of it wanting to jump out of reverse. He is very knowledgeable and as soon as the spawn is over I'm bringing my sportmaster to him to repair it. They do really good work there.

Zuber Marine in Larose. He's the only guy I let touch my motors. Races Allison's and knows his stuff with 2.5 liter Mercury's.

Simon Young at Simons Outboards may work on them. I know that he used to race for years. You can give him a call. Good, honest mechanic. Google Simons outboards in Gonzales, La.

Simon is good too. Only reason I didn't mention is because Zuber is closer to you.

Simon's is good, just don't be in any rush. They had mine for two weeks and it wasn't ready when I went to pick it up.
