Does anyone know what the water levels are at Old River in Morganza? Has the water fallen down to around normal yet? I read the Miss River is falling, wanted to make a trip on friday if the water is good.

16 ft at BR guage I believe is the best. Right now its over 20'....

"Normal" levels at old river at at 15 feet at BR...yesterday, when I went to old river, it was at 25.4...so it is still about 10 feet high...Pretty good rise coming to Cairo, so chances are slim it will be normal for most of the next month...Sac au lait, bream, and bass are biting though...if you know where to go....
