I was wanting to file a small claims suit, but the limit is $3K. I'm looking at closer to $7K. Anybody know what my options are?

I think you will have to file suit in district court. You do not need a lawer to do it.

Be careful with the lawyer(s) uh I mean white collar thieves
I got sued in small claims court.
I learned two things.
1) If you have a story to tell. What happenned, etc....You won't get the chance.
2) He with the most witnesses wins. EVEN if those witnesses were not there, had nothing to with anything, or....were 1 year old at time of incident. (no schit)
So, sue if you need to, and be sure to bring your entire family and all your neighbors, and anybody you meet at your local wal-mart..with you to court. AND say they are witnesses to how upset you were a week after said incident.
