09 250 pro XS with 40 hours. Is it common for some side to side play on the prop shaft? I have some end play which is normal but I can move the shaft slightly from side to side???

There should NOT be any substantial "lateral" movement in the propshaft (perhaps .003-.006" is acceptable). When testing for this.... the prop and hub should be REMOVED from the shaft (so as not to confuse prop/hub movement with propshaft movement).![]()

Thanks, I did remove the prop and hub and have just a little movement, can actually feel the front of the shaft move slightly.
