    "HO Problem"

My buddy has a new 225 HO on his new Stratos. He has a hydraulic JP and everytime he hits 3800-4000 rpm,s the temp alarm goes off. With the trim sucked all the way in and the JP all the way down it still goes off. Dealer has tried to correct it thru software changes with no luck. Ascension Marine told him to bring it in again and they will grind on it and "modify" it and it will stop going off. Anyone else heard of other HO,s having this problem ? Don,t know how excited I would be to have someone grinding on my new Mota! TBJ

Damn, that don't sound good. It's probably minor though, like the Yamaha OX66 water pick-up problem.

With the title of this thread, I was thinking.........damn, somebody has the same problem I do.

That's what happens when they find out how much money you got.

I wouldn't want them cutting and grinding on my new stuff like that. Supreme case of the reds if that happens

tell joel you want ronnie parker to work on it! I would still post it on the evinrude forum and see what they say! I would also post to the stratos forum. If you get time champioman on the champion forum is a big rude man he can probably help! the best rude man I know is at the new bass pro shop in denham. His name is larry and i have dealt with him for 20 years he is by far the best rude man i know of in this part of the country.
