1993 250 3.0L THIS MOTOR IS A LAKE X MOTOR. I HAVE SPUN THE HUB NOW 3 TIMES .I KNOW THAT I DID NOT HIT ANYTHING. I WAS READING ON ONE SITE SOMEONE HAD A SIMULAR PROBLEM AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A BAD POPPIT VALVE.THE BOAT RAN FINE EACH TIME TROLLING .BUT AFTER GIVING THROTTLE FOR A SHORT TIME THE HUB SPINS.
Which prop, and which hub are you running?
A poppet valve issue that causes this sort of hub failure will also have the symptom of "crazy-high water pressure".
