I used to work with a guy that trained Hunting Dogs....not Beagles by any means........but he Used Gun-Dog products. New another trainer from Malcolm area that used DT systems but I find it very expesive but if your into it as much as some fo these guys they will pay for themsleves in time.

I have one @ home but do not remember brand of it......it is very old & do not beleive they are made from them anymore....I could be wrong.

I knwo there are a LOT of other names out there but do not have as much exprience with many electronic collars......I read a book prodused from Top trainer in Colorado on HUnting Labs....and Upland Labs.....very good book.....and it did not use Elec collars very much but only if you have a Hyper Dog......being a beagle is Hyper I beleive it may be sooted for such use.

I have 2 labs. One is 11 years old and that other is 2. The 2 year old hasn't been worked with....
The 11 year old is on her downslide but has been a good "meat" dog. Never taught her hand signals, but she has been great. That said we have gone through 4 different sport dog collars. You couldn't give me one now! DOGTRA is all I will spend money on...

That seem to be pretty common.......I went through 2 collars when I got mine.....it never seemed to hold a charge.......and after half a day of NO use....it was already dead when hooked up on charger again

that may be why some fo the Trainers are using DT Systems as well now.......they may jsut be better products so I guess if you spend $200 on 2 different ones.....that is already the cost of ONE DT collar system

I have been using the same Innotek collars for the last 12 years . Don't know if the new ones are still that good or not.

I have a dogtra that I am real happy with. Tri-tronics is top of the line as well.
