    Speedo- Question

I read Don's last posting answer on the top part of the motor, well I found the unit that was under the starter. I found a 5/32 tube coming from the bottom but it went straight through to the Rigging Tube. (Informational) I had a Smart Craft Monitor 1000 installed after receiving the boat. Could that be the problem?

    Re: Speedo- Question (lpolk)

That would be the problem- the motor was rigged for analog only speedo.

If you want to use the digital (Smartcraft) speedo also, you can simply "tee" the tube to run to both the digital sender, and then on to the analog gauge (this is how I rig most of them...).

Very simple- it's a snap-in "tee" that's available through any Merc Dealer (we have them also).
