Forgot to say when I was at Table Rock earlier this month I was standing on the deck of the cabin having some medicine when the resort guy comes roarin' down on his four wheeler towards the dock and slides to a stop by the boat ramp there I saw him looking at something in the water, then he roars over to the boat dock and retrieves a 4 foot oar and runs to the ramp I going what the ()*^&% is going on with this guy. Then he starts flailing the water for all he is worth When he is done I hollered down at him to see if he had too much sun or what. He yells back, WATER MOCASSIN So I go down and yep, there it was deader than a macarral. Then I remember I have to pull my boat out on that ramp in a couple of hours. When I did I had old blue with me to deliever some smokin' death if I saw anything that looked like it moved. Wife thought it was funny , she yelled at me when I was pulling the boat out. Thought about giving her one but then I probably would have done the same thing.

Snakes really dont bother me too much. Having said that I have no desire to see or mess with one either. I try to leave them alone and they can leave me alone. That is unless I have the scatter gun.

I saw a kid this weekend at a family deal that amazed the hell out of me. We were walking down through a draw in a pasture and a snake came out from underneath my foot and of course I jumped 10 feet in the air and then realized I had left the 2 year old that was walking with me standing there. He was chasing it giggling and saying "snake...little snake" kind of embarassing to get laughed at by a toddler.
