I have been to KY Lake 4 times 3 times able to have a boat. I am planning my 3rd camping trip and have my dates setup. I have always went in late march or early april. Now I am going to be going down June 13-18. I have read last years fishing report and have some sort of game plan but I want to know you guys experiences during this time. I will be mainly fishing for Bass but will be doing some catfishing as well. I plan on staying at Lakeside Campground off Jonathan Creek.

Bass will be on the ledges by June. Catfish will be at Catfish Corner in Draffenville----already golden brown !
Here is my thought. The larger bass for the most part should be on the ledges but there are always big fish shallow as well. You just aren't going to pull up on a dock or bush shallow and catch your limit like a ledge. You can catch huge numbers of bass shallow that time of year but you won't come close to winning a tournament but if you are just fun fishing you should have fun.
If you are wanting to have fun, and to me catching big fish is fun, fish the ledges.
Well my plan is to HONE my ledge fishing skills.....I will be ordering my charmer flat tail plum 10 1/2 soon......also got my jigs and cranks ready....
