I will be going down there monday all day and was wondering how the bass bite is. Can you still catch them up on the banks or have they moved to the ledges. Thanks

Good luck on Monday no way I would go out on. Barkley there has been more yacht out on it then ky the last few times I ve been out... Monday will be insane..... but to answer your question they are out on ledges and some points

Mainlake points and ledges is where I would look. A deep crank like a DD22 or a DT16 should do the trick.

I wouldn't be worried about the traffic out there - a lot of people can't hack it...I'm pretty well used to it. Just take some extra patience with you for after 9 a.m.


PS - be sure to hit up the Rock Quarry at the mouth of Pisgah on KY Lake - should be some real nice eye candy - 1 p.m. and after is usually when the tops start coming off!
