I was fishing a tournament today and ran in to a stump going about 7 mph and bent my shaft. How much is this going to cost me?? And does any one know if you can claim it on insurance. thanks for any info.

about 5 years ago,hit a stump on Fork,bent the shaft,spun hub...after deductable,insurance covered it..I believe back then it was about 650 bucks...before deductable..good luck..
Bent a prop shaft on a 225ho back in October and after a new shaft, seal kit, forward gear, lube and labor it ran me about 1150 bucks.I feel for ya!
I threw a prop blade after hitting something in the water back in the fall and also bent the prop shaft as well. With the new prop and shaft and having the skeg fixed and all the labor it was around $1700. Yes the insurance covered the damage minus the deductible.
