    Gasoline Additves

I am wanting to know what type of extra additives everyone adds to there gas.
Made me start thinking after this month 'Bass Times' and what does everyone do.

Most people run 87 Octane and put the stabilizer in during the winterization process, but what do you add through the 'fishing 'season' ??

The bass times article also mentioned that 89 octane has the fewest additives. This has been true for some time!! I always run 89 octane. I also add Seafoam to every tank.

Schaeffer's Neutra every tank. I figure it is cheaper to use it every tank than to have to replace a sensor or injector. Great product and american made. check them out at schaefferoil.com. they have been around a long long time.
We run it in the mower, cars, weedwacker and boat.
sea foam is great also, just a little on the pricey side and does not do any more than the neutra.
I also only run 87 oct. From what Sherm has told me, plus what i have heard from many others, that is what the motors are designed to run on. (at least the newer ones)

I had been using Seafoam in everything that uses gas, now I use Startron and like it even better

I tell all my customers to use ring free in their rigs. Our mechanics can tell by looking at the plugs if they use it or not. Its flat out good stuff, keeps that carbon down for sure.

I've been using quickleen in the new boat. I used seafom in my previous boat. Ran that motor hard for the 17 years I owned it after I got it from Rodney in 91. (dang Rodney we must be getting old)
