I recently "sold" my house under a few stipulations. The girl buying it was going to rent it for a few months until she got the $$ from her ex husband to buy the house. (apparently the house they owned is free and clear and he owed her half so we were waiting on that loan to go through and she was just going to buy the house outright)

First months rent went through fine but she was still delayed on getting me the security deposit and escrow downpayment....$1,000 each.

October's rent was also 5 days late (due on 1st) along with $200 she owed me. I finally met up with her on Friday to get those 2 checks and deposited shortly after b/c I had already made the mtg pmt and my current rent payment.

CHECK BOUNCED TODAY!!! She is nowhere to be found, won't return calls, emails, or text messages. I guess I'll be hanging out on what is STILL MY FRONT PORCH tonight until someone gets home!!! My bank charged me $100 due to size of the check also!

Assuming its made right and there is a next month...Cash or money order only!!

$100 because of the size of the check???? What bank you at? I work at Chase and nothing is that high.

1st...change the locks on the house.
2nd...get a new bank.

Still no rent check. All I've gotten thus far is "I'll get it to you today"....then an excuse as to why it didn't happen.
