My son and I spent 5 days there, wow, what a place. We spent first couple of days fishing the north end, then a couple of days from Paris south. We caught a LOT of fish on the north end but nothing large, a few in the 4 range and a bunch of 2-2.5 but couldn't find the hogs. My first trip south of Paris I landed the fish pictured below, a 7lb 2oz (on hand scale) pig. If not for the wind the last two days we were there it would have been a flawless trip but a wave knocked my son (6' 5" - 230 lbs) off balance and into one of my windshields, shattering it. But all in all it was a great trip and I can't wait to get down there again. Until then I'll be up north waiting for ice out and the 5lb smallies in St. Clair and Erie.
