Campground and Fishing Guide at Dale Hollow Lake

Wife and I are looking to head out that way from Ashland, KY for Memorial Day weekend for a combination trip for our birthdays, Mom's/Dad's day, and anniversary. Anyone know of a nice clean campground close that we could stay at.

We want to go fishing also, or at least I do. Any guide services you would recommend in the area that are close to the campground area.

Also what other activities and such are there in the areas as well?

If I were to tow the jonboat (14' electric motor only) would I be okay putting it in the water a fishining out of it as well. Know I will not be able to go to far or fast in it, but would get us on the water for more than 1 day.

you need to check out smalljaw.com and Andrew Robertson as a guide. He will put you on fish. Dale is pretty safe for anysize boat... You have a lot of areas you can get into and out of the wind if need be.

I don't know about campgrounds, but like Jeff said...Andrew Robertson will put you on some fish. You may want to check though, I think he stops running guide trips around the first of may. Here are 3 other guides to suggest
