Looking for a job in the Ashland KY area...

Anyone know of any? Just got married to the best gal in the world and am know looking for work in the Ashland KY area. Currently work for the Federal Government here in the Washington DC area. Have approx 20 years experience in office work, managment skills, and working with/in/for the military. Have a few leads now, but nothing that I am ready to pack up and move today for. I really need to find something soon as I have been without my new bride now for a week and we are going crazy without each other. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance...

Have you considered a carear with MSHA? If i'm not mistaken there is a office near there. Just transfer the MSHA. But know that I think about it, it would put you closer to Pike and Floyd counties. Just a thougt. They make excellent pay and benifits. But I'm sure you know that. Good luck with the job search.

MSHA is the Mine Safety and Health Administration, it would be another Federal Government job.

Don't rule out the Huntington, WV area... that will be about a 20 mile drive and I bet Marshall University would have some openings also CSX is a good career choice in the area. Good luck!
