    Trailer brake issue, need help

I have a dual axel trailer and one of the brakes lock up when backing. It doesn't do it all the time but has started doing it more now than not. Also, pulled the boat this weekend and it felt like there was a little drag on the truck. Once I got to the lake that same hub was warmer than the others.

Going to pull the wheel tomorrow, can I just take that brake off on that wheel? What should I do??

    Thanks

You may have a wheel cylinder sticking or some other mechanical problem. Yes you can just take off one wheel and expose the working parts. Look to see if the brakes are returning back to the pin and the springs are hooked up. You also may have a break shoe coming apart. Good luck
