    Brakeaway cable

    Just pulled out of the hitch.Now what should I do?

    New one will cost about $8.00.

    Check to make sure the brake lock is off
    Pull the actuator
    Rerun the breakaway cable
    Replace the actuator
    Bleed the brakes
    Replace the C-clip

    And your done.

    It's not hard to do. Mechanical difficulty 3 out of 10.

    Changed brakaway cable and master clynider this eve went to bleed the lines and the bleeder screws will not break loose.The joys of owning toys Dennis thanks for your help.

    If it is a UFP brake system, you can release the brakes by pushing up on the release lever underneath the actuator, that should free up the brakes, then you can tow. Go to ufpnet.com to get a manual. There are links posted above..
