    tire blowout at 70 MPH

Just a friendly reminder to check your trailer. while going to the lake the other morning I blew a tire at 70 MPH on a single axle trailer and it wasn't a fun ride. No damage to the boat or trailer but destroyed the tire and rim. I always go over my trailer lights, brakes, tires, tie downs and tire pressure but overlooked 1 thing, the valve stems. It was dry rotted and snapped, checked the other tire and spare and stems where dry rotted. Bought it in 04 and the tires are in perfect shape no ware or rot. replaced all stems and new tire and rim.

Just had mine changed last month. Glad you came through that as good as you did.

That a good tip. Had a stem go bad on my 10,000 lb that was a fun ride.
