I been having a problem with my 115 Etec. When I turn corners it sucks air at quarter trim but the rpm guage doesnt rev up. I do not have a jack plate on it, and its at its last hole on the moter, I can lower it more but I will loose speed does anyone have any suggestions maybe a bigger prop Im only running a 18 stainless.

And is there a transducer within 18" of the center line of the hull?
The Hull is Stratos 186 XT. No the ransducer is on the back just a cheapy I have to replace it yet. The RPMS only run about 5500, but when it revs up the tack doesnt move either.
