223 loads i've tested

these were shot out of a Remington 788 in 223 Cal.

#1 Federal 55 gr FMJ Factory shells
#2 Remington Brass 55 Gr Horandy V Max bullet , 25.0 gr of Varget powder
#3 Remington Brass 55 gr Speer Spitzer bullet, 25.0 gr of Varget Powder

all 3 loads were shot off of bench rest at 50 Yards, thery are a 5 shot group, # 2 and #3 were a load i just started with out of the loading manual,, i think if i miss with it a little it will shoot a better group.. #2 you can cover with a dime

You gotta try the 52gr speer Hp like I posted in your first post let me know, and I'll check my records for some 223 data. Great groups anyways

my shop didn't have any yesterday, i'll let you know when i find some

i think with a little tweaking, she'll shoot even better

The groups are pretty good, but move out to 100 yds and see what they look like. Also get yourself something with a true round dot to shoot at. Or even a square(dot). Something you can see just big enough that you can precisely quarter with the cross hairs. This will help you shoot at your target more consistently.
