    New Boat Owner

I purchased my first boat about 3 months ago. Everything worked great until I took it in for scheduled maintenance. Now when I trim down to take off I receive a continuous warning beep. The oil is full. Not sure of the cause, but it appears the water expeller is going under water and possibly setting of the alarm. The one major difference is the problem has happened during high wind conditions with a severe chop on the water. Is this normal? I can take off by dramatically trimming up, but it impacts the boat handling in rough water. I have a Merc Optimax Pro XS 200. Is this a product of the weather condition or a possible change to the motor setup. I am a long way from getting boat smart, so any help will be appreciated.

Take it back to who ever did the maintenance on it, they may have left a wire unhooked when they had it hooked up to the computer.
