It still has wood in it....though I don't the location or amount to be specific.
I'm sure one of the Stratos guy's will be along to help you more.
I'm kind of a newb but I believe Stratos had wood until either '96 or '97.

I have a 1992 274V, I believe it has wood stringers and transom, it's solid as a rock though.
On a boat that old make SURE you look at the transom and the motor well for cracks. If you see cracking the transom could be getting soft. Stratos makes real good boats. I would suggest you post the model number and year on the stratos board for more info.

Im also looking into another boat which belongs to a freinds friend. Its a 2000 model so its newer and only a little over a thousand more. Only thing is im looking for that third center seat. Now is it easy to install that center seat or do i need to take it to a shop to get it done.

Too bad you were not a bit closer. I have the exact same boat for sale but a bit cheaper and in great condition.
As for the boat I absolutely love it as I am sure you will love the year and make as well.The boat in trhe link you are looking at looks to be in decent condition as well.
