I have an ETEC 200 HO Model E200DHLSU on Lake Champlain while traveling very slow 4 or 5 MPH I struck a piece of concrete which bent the prop and stalled the engine. I don't think the gears suffered any damage because on the return to the launch there wasn't any problems although I only ran the engine up to 4000 RPM's and there was only slight vibration at less than 2000 RPM's I guess from the 2 prop blade edges that were bent. How can I check the prop shaft and if there was a problem in the gearcase would I have had a problem that was noticable driving 10 miles at about 4000 RPM's. Lastly how can I pressure test lower unit seals? I had my prop done by Mark's props last Winter and I am sending it back to him for the repair.![]()
