    Bluewater mounting bases

    anyone have a pic of how you are utilizing these?

    They are a part of our install kit. If you call the 800 number on monday I bet Lisa would make you a good deal on just the bases.

    They are adhesive cable tie bases and you can also get those at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, electronics stores, pretty much anywhere. They are about 15 cents a piece, or you can buy 100 for $7 or $8.

    +1 I use them a lot from truck wiring to household wires behind the computer desk they work great.

    Most of my wiring runs along with the other wiring, using the loosely pulled wire ties already there.

    You have to use hot glue with the bases too or they will come of unfinished surfaces.

    You raise a very good point. I always run my wire with the factory wire when possible. On the mounting bases, they are 1" X 1". I use the same red 3M tape when mounting them in tougher places only I use it in the 1" size roll. The roll goes a very long way for this purpose and they hold alot better. If I am out of that stuff, I have black hot glue that I will use.
