Is 24oz carpet to thick to use on bass boats?

I used 24oz on my Ranger and loved it. It is plush and not hard to work with. I would use it again with out any hesitation.

Thanks for responding to my question. I heard that people had problems getting lids to close.

You may have to "shave" the lid edges., but after a couple slams it should be fine. I
