I know my 2003 Chevy Suburban isn't a boat but a lot of guys on here seem to know their stuff when it comes to paint.
I replaced my power window motor on the suburban and as instructed held the window in place using blue painters tape. The tape was in place for about 30 minutes and when I took it off the clearcoat also came off in two of the spots where the tape was. This door had some work done on it probably 6 or 7 years ago and I can see that the clearcoat has some small bubbles in it and obviously these two big strips where tape used to be looks terrible.
Can I re-clearcoat this myself?
I have no equipment and no experience.
