    wet sanding

I have searched past treads about wet sanding but I am still unsure as to if you block sand by hand or use a random orbital sander.

    Anyone?

    Re: wet sanding (bardern)

By hand.....fingertips around any radius curves, can block sand flat surfaces.

from the post pinned a the top of the page.

" 2nd step is to wet sand by hand with plenty of water, put a few drops of dishwashing liquid in the sanding water to make the paper slide easier, dunk the paper often to clean the sanded material off the paper."

thanks for the clear-up! when that post said by hand, being dense, I couldn't figure out if you held the paper in your hand or it was on a hand block.
