    89' Stratos 201 Pro Restore

After seeing the results you guys have gotten from your restores, I've decided to go ahead and do mine. I wet sanded and buffed a two foot section on one rear corner of the boat and was amazed at the results, it looked brand new. I've got a question for you guys that have already done this, should I remove the old carpet before wet sanding and buffing or after? Thanks, Brian Penrod.

thats probably a personal preference.. you do not need to wetsand under the carpet, but if it would help you get the endges better i would pull the carpet...
