I got a new (used) boat and noticed every time I fueled up a would smell gas, Finally determined that the gasket around the fuel sender was leaking. Purchased a new gasket, installed it, still leaking. So, I trying to figure out a sealant that would work in addition to the gasket to stop this leak. I know that a lot of sealants say not to use around gas.
Any suggestions?

I use Form A Gasket. But make sure you clean the area real well before using it. Definitely do NOT use any silicone based sealants. Form A gasket will work with either the cork or rubber gaskets.

Talked to some local gear heads and they said to go to Wally World and buy some Seal All. It worked great and states that it is Gas/oil resistant. Less than $2.

Seal all works great, prep work is much less critical with it too. That stuff will seal up about anything.
